Booking and pricing for pool service businesses

Your customer picks the service and their pool size, sees the price right away, chooses a time, and saves a card on file. Weekly service repeats on its own and charges after each visit. You set the rates once and skip the callback and the quote you text that night.

Priced by pool size

A price for every pool

Each service prices on the pool size, so the customer picks their size and sees the price before they book. These are the starting rates a pool service business gets on signup:

Service
Small
Medium
Large
Pool opening
$150
$190
$240
Pool closing
$160
$200
$250
Weekly service
$45
$60
$80

Prices are for an above-ground pool; an in-ground pool adds $20. Weekly service repeats on a weekly or biweekly schedule and charges after each visit. These are the starting rates, editable in a couple of minutes. They are a working setup, and are not advice about what you should charge. See the method behind these numbers in how to price pool opening and closing .

How it works

From visitor to booked job in one minute

1

Customer picks the service and pool size

They choose an opening, a closing or weekly service, then their pool type and size. The price updates as they go, so they see the total before they book, with no callback.

2

They pick one-time or weekly

A one-off opening or closing, or recurring weekly service, plus a start date, and they save a card on file through your own Stripe. The weekly visits schedule themselves.

3

The job lands in your dashboard

You get the booking and a ready-made schedule, with automatic confirmations and reminders. Weekly service is charged after each visit, through your own Stripe.

Common questions

How do I price a pool opening or closing online?

Set a price for each pool size, and the customer’s price is built from the size and type they pick. In the starting setup an above-ground opening is $150 small, $190 medium and $240 large, an in-ground pool adds $20, and a closing runs slightly higher. Every number is editable in a couple of minutes, so the standard jobs book without a callback.

Can customers sign up for weekly service?

Yes. Weekly service runs on a weekly or biweekly schedule, and the customer picks the cadence and a start date at booking, then saves a card on file. The visits schedule themselves and each one is charged after it is done through your own Stripe, so a standing route is booked from a single sign-up.

What about a repair or a green-pool recovery I need to see first?

Leave those as a quote request and price the routine work online. A repair or a green-pool recovery can come in as a request with the customer’s details so you can inspect and quote it, while openings, closings and weekly service book at a set price. You capture the lead either way, and the ordinary work books itself.
